In the night between 19 and 20 May were set on fire a hundred cars and there were acts of vandalism against some businesses in the area. The next night another 11 cars were torched and nearly 100 people took part in the clashes. During the night police arrested six people involved. Even in the neighborhood of Rågsved, south of Stockholm, some buildings were damaged, including a police station, and cars were burnt between 22 and 23 May. It also reported incidents in the neighborhoods of Fittja, Jakobsberg, Norsborg, Tensta, Kista, Sollentuna, Skarpnack, Varberg, Skarholmen, Rinkeby.
The riots should not be able to spread in the central areas of the city. Police also announced that it will increase the presence of men in the warmer areas affected by the fighting and had already arrested 8 individuals.
