La situazione siriana sta divenendo, giorno dopo giorno, una vera e propria polveriera di non facile soluzione per la Comunità Internazionale.

Lo dimostra l’intervento del Consiglio Atlantico, il massimo organo decisionale della NATO, riunitosi ad ottobre su richiesta della Turchia[1], coinvolta direttamente in scontri e colpi di mortaio provenienti dalla Siria e che hanno colpito il territorio turco; anche se non è chiaro se i colpi esplosi provenissero dai lealisti al Governo siriano o dagli insorti al regime.

All’indomani di tali avvenimenti il Parlamento di Ankara ha approvato una mozione parlamentare che autorizza le forze armate turche ad intervenire fin dentro i confini siriani per ristabilire la sicurezza interna.
