The Secretary of State John Kerry and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov have reached an agreement, despite the crisis in Ukraine, for an increase of common intelligence about militants ISIS, putting aside brouhaha, focusing on a common enemy.

Speaking in Paris with his Russian counterpart, Kerry said that the two world powers despite the new "Cold War", due to the role played by Russia in Ukraine, have found ways to work together on global issues although there are large differences in a number of areas.

SAccording to Reuters news agency, at least 35 Al-Qaeda’s militants were killed in two UAV strikes (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) carried out on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 in Yemen[1]. These new strikes are part of the ongoing campaign against international terrorism that the United States are managing in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia. Washington hasn’t commented the fact yet but it is almost impossible to rule US involvement out: these attacks are likely to be the White House response to the AQAP (Al-Qaeda in the Arabic Peninsula) attempt to gather about 100 militants in Yemen as testified by a video broadcasted by the CNN[2].

Everyone knows what the “global surveillance disclosures saga” is about, everyone knows when and how it started; but how many people could say how is it going to end? The answer is nobody, actually. Nevertheless, formulating a kind of prevision is not out of our hands.

It seems incredible but exactly 50 years since the assassination of Kennedy that Dallas is still a struggle against a communist country : China.

This time it comes to Caroline Kennedy, daughter of John , U.S. Ambassador to Japan, who will have to deal with the issue of the Senkaku .

Tuesday, November 26 two unarmed B52 U.S. bombers flew over the airspace of the Senkaku Islands in order to challenge China who in the meantime had declared , in an arbitrary and one-sided that it is its own airspace.

July 2013, a fiery summer is expected since early Edward Snowden’s revelation. Snowden, the mole: ex CIA and NSA associate, a hero for someone, a traitor for others.

What is known as Datagate, the global surveillance scandal, blew up in early June: phone communication control, electronic surveillance, spying diplomatic offices; those are some of the “bomb-news” thrown by Snowden after he left NSA base in Hawaii in May.

Cold War's winds have hit on Russian-American relations. On May 14, the Russian secret service arrested in Moscow one American "007" of CIA, later identified as Ryan C. Fogle. Fogle, undercover as a member of the American Embassy, is accused of having attempted recruitment of informants and contacts on behalf of the Agency. Apparently his equipment consisted of a large sum of money used for enrollment, a diplomatic passport, and some kit of tricks and wigs to change rapidly identity.

Moreover, according to the Russian network "Russia Today" on Fogle was found a piece of paper with which he promised more than 100 thousand dollars in exchange for information. Declared "persona non grata", Fogle was returned to the U.S. Embassy, but tough was the reaction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federation who has held the CIA operation as a "provocative action in the spirit of the Cold War."

In the U.S. analysts on the Middle East are evaluating the risks that could be caused by more aggressive effort of the United States to overthrow the regime of Bashar Al Assad.

Failure to act could result in the first place that the weapons given to the rebels could end up in the hands of Islamic extremists in the second place, that Syria will shatter into many sectarian groups.

The explosions on April 15 in Boston have shown, once again, the usefulness of a proper management of communications in a crisis situation and have shown how effective synergy between traditional media and social networks, and as important vehicles news from the field, both as a means to provide assistance and help to all those who are looking for news on the people involved in the event, and, finally, as a means to contain the crisis.

We are a "risk society" and this connotation now universally shared, no longer needs further explanation since the risk, individual and collective, to which we are daily exposed, has not only achieved high levels of perception, but characterizes so much of our actions that individual habits often undergo revision if not of actual rollovers. Live, move, make decisions, participate, share collective moments that act within a complex society like ours, where it passes from one stage to the potential risk of a crisis within hours if not minutes, has made it increasingly essential to an institution, organization, and even more so for an institution to become familiar with the criteria that a communication, then it was called "crisis" states, and that over the last few years has honed.

Two explosions at 12 seconds apart rocked the finish line of the Boston Marathon instantly killing three people including a child of 8 years Richard Martin, seriously wounding 140.

The episode of Boston is certainly to be categorized as a terrorist act even though we can not know if it was designed and built by a group of terrorists, foreign or domestic.
